We are thrilled to announce that Cyber War of the World has been selected as a finalist in The One Show.

The One Show is one of the most prestigious awards competitions in advertising, design, interactive and branded entertainment. To receive an award from The One Show is the ultimate symbol of creative excellence. Each year roughly 20,000 entries are submitted from around the world. A small percentage make it to the final round. HuntSource was one of the only entries in the South East to short list, let alone make it to the final round and receive an award. This is a huge honor as we are now in company of the biggest and most famous brands in the world.

Here’s the idea behind Cyber War of the World:  HuntSource is a technology recruiting and solutions firm. A 9/11-style cyber attack has been in the headlines for years, yet experts say globally we’re unprepared. October is Cyber Security Awareness Month, so we wanted to sound the alarm around these threats. October 2018 was also the 80th anniversary of Orson Welles’s infamous War of the Worlds radio broadcast. To celebrate this and bring attention to this important topic, we created a modern day version of this historic stunt. Leveraging the medium most listened to by the business community—the podcast. By partnering with one of the most respected cyber security podcasts , the stage was set. In the spirit of the original War of the Worlds broadcast, the podcast was promoted as their first live podcast on social media. Featuring HuntSource Co-Founders as guests on the show. It started off as a normal episode, but then strange things started to happen.
